Leon Ashworth, a ten-year -old boy, together with his mom went to a store and his heart was immediately captivated by a cute panda stuffed toy which he even named it ” Pandy”.
His countenance that time was very happy but to his dismay, (as he asked his mom to buy it) his mom doesn’t have sufficient money to buy that toy until the pay day since his family were having a tough year because they lost a premature baby.
So this clever boy wrote a saddening and touching letter on the stuffed toy’s box saying : “My mum didn’t have enough money to buy me Pandy so she’s buying me Pandy on 15th June so please don’t buy him as it will make me cry, thank you so much from Hopeful Future Owner,” as per report of Mirror.
What this story is more fascinating about is that an employee named David Bateman from that store, Hunts Cross Asda supermarket was able to read the letter and share it to his co-workers and they were able to buy Pandy.
Bateman made a post on Facebook telling the story and to track down who could be that ‘ future owner ‘was. Leon’s mom, Debbie, was able to read the article and brought his son to the store.
With a merry heart, Leon held his Pandy and was very grateful that there were good hearts that granted his ultimate liking. ” This is the best day of my life! “, he said while walking out.
Eventually, Bateman’s post on Facebook accumulated a lot of attention from netizens. All of them were happy about this story of Leon, how fascinating it was that there are kind hearts that made this little act of kindness whom made a kid very happy.
