Tattler’s Daily (TD) respects the protection of intellectual property rights of every individual. In lieu with this, we give utmost importance to claimant who has clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with Digital Millennium Copyright Act in which complete text can be accessed at http://lcweb.loc.gov/copyright/legislation/dmca.pdf.
TD will respond to reports of alleged copyright infringement, such as unauthorized use of a copyrighted story, image and video uploaded in our website.
However, not all unauthorized uses of copyrighted materials are considered infringements. Some may not require the copyright owner’s permission. Click this link for details: https://ilt.eff.org/index.php/Copyright:_Fair_Use
To submit a notice of claimed copyright infringement, please submit the following:
- A physical or electronic signature (typing your full name will suffice) of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
- Original work or clear description of the materials allegedly being infringed upon;
- Your full name, address, contact number, and email address;
- A letter written in good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner or the law.
Once the legal department found out that the copyright owner’s exclusive rights has been violated and the representation of the said material is no longer bounded by the Fair Use Policy, the management will immediately take down the alleged infringe materials as initial action.
TD will also contact the complainant to inform him/her regarding the removal of the said alleged infringe materials.
