President Rodrigo Duterte seemed to be fond of the Filipino ring icon after joking that Pacquiao is possibly seeking for a higher position.

Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales slapped Senator Emmanuel Joel Villanueva with dismissal from government service due to misused and abused of Priority Development Assistance Fund projects during the senator’s term as party-list representative.

A post at the official facebook page of the Office of Ombudsman, it said that Villanueva was found guilty of “grave misconduct, serious dishonesty and conduct prejudicial to the interest of service.”

The resolution stated that Villanueva and nine others are liable for P10 million in PDAF funds allocated for the agri-based livelihood projects in the various congressional districts in Region XI in 2008. Continue reading…

A possible rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather is in the offing after Coach Freddie Roach confirmed in an interview that negotiations are taking place for the part two of the “Fight of the Century.”

The idea of a rematch must have been fueled by Mayweather’s surprise presence at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Venas during Pacquiao versus Jessie Vargas fight.

In an exclusive interview published at, Roach said that Mayweather watched the fight and overheard that the two proceeded to Pacquiao’s room afterward for a brief conversation.

The trainer of the year awardee is hoping for another shot of fight in 2017 as Pacquiao will be free from his public duties in April and May when senate takes its recess from the session. Continue reading…

A declaration of the suspension of the writ of habeas corpus might be forced by President Rodrigo Duterte if the status in Mindanao worsens.

This declaration has been announced by the president last November 11, 2016 at the launching of the Pilipinong May Puso Foundation in Davao.

President Duterte said that he would consider the declaration if the rebellion that is ongoing in Mindanao will get out of control.

A case has now been filed at the Pangasinan Prosecutor Office against a former Bayambang town councilor including four barangay village chiefs for violation of RA 9165 or Anti-Dangerous Drug Act.

Assistant Provincial Prosecutor Gil Rosario recommended the filing of criminal charges against ex-councilor Gerardo De Vera of brgy. Zone 1 together with Renato Soriano of barangay Tamaro; Gildo Madronio of Brgy. San Gabriel Dos; George Balbon of Brgy. Nalsian; and Eduardo Alacantara of Brgy. Beleng a day after they were arrested on their respective home last November 10.

The arrests came after the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in coordination with the Pangasinan Provincial Police Office and Special Weapon and Tactics (SWAT) team had raided the suspects’ houses based on search warrant issued by the court. Continue reading…


Fatal accident was captured on camera, as a grandmother accidentally dropped her grandson 30 feet high that brought him to death.

The accident happened yesterday at Wu Yue plaza in Qingpi district of Shanghai, China, that the grandmother was out of shopping together with his grandson who was just four months old.
